Over the last eleven years the Barbados Youth Business Trust has helped to create some
400 businesses employing over 800 people. This could not have happened without
the leadership, guidance and wise counsel of Dr. Trevor Carmichael the founding
chairman, the other founding Trustees and members of the executive council. Without
the vision and commitment of this group, I would not have inherited the chairmanship
of such a vibrant and vital organisation in the youth development landscape of not
