Without the support of many volunteers and donors, The Barbados Youth Business Trust could not help the young people who have a good business idea, but no source of funding. Please contact us if you can help in the following ways:
 
Business Mentor?
 
If you have experience in business or have been self-employed, you could help a new business by becoming a volunteer Mentor. This involves visiting the new proprietor on a monthly basis and keeping The Barbados youth Business Trust’s office updated on his/her progress. If you were to join us, you would become one of a network of several Mentors island wide, giving invaluable support to new businesses. If you can help, please call the number opposite or send the form to the address shown.  

Volunteering your time?
 
If you can give up some of your time each week to help in the office listed opposite, then do call. Your support would help our staff to reach many more young people who need our support.  

Staff secondment
 
Working for a charity can be a stimulating and rewarding experience and will provide an excellent challenge for developing the skills of managers. If you and your company would be interested in a period of secondment to the Barbados Youth Business Trust, please contact the office below for more information.  

Raise funds
 
If you have an idea for raising funds locally in aid of The Trust, we would very much like to hear from you.  

Gifts in kind
 
We welcome gifts in kind such as venues for meetings, IT equipment, transport of goods, printing etc. Please contact the office below if you can provide goods or services free of charge, which will help us to support more young people.   Do you have a charity of the year? Do you have a staff Fundraising day? Does your company run a scheme of payroll Giving? Please contact The Barbados Youth Business Trust if your company would like to be involved.  

Making a donation
 
The generous support of individuals and organisations has helped us to help approximately 500 young people so far. We welcome donations of any size. Please contact the number opposite or send your donation to the address shown.
